东京电力需要寻找900万吨/年的新的LNG供应

据道琼斯5月28日消息，今年4月份由东京电力公司和中部电力公司组建的合资公司Jera公司董事长Yuji Kakimi表示，未来几年日本东京电力公司不得不签署协议以获得900万吨/年的LNG供应。该合资公司的主要工作是每年购买4000万吨的LNG供应这两家日本电力公司。Kakimi表示，这两家电力公司有这么大的LNG购买需求是因为与马国油签署的一份480万吨/年的LNG长期供应合同将在2018年3月到期，与阿布扎比天然气液化公司签署的一份430万吨/年的LNG供应合同将在一年后到期。当前日本电力公司持有的多数长期LNG供应合同将在2018-2019年到期。

[Dow Jones] Tokyo Electric Power Co (9501.TO) has to seal deals to secure about 9 million tons a year of liquefied natural gas supply in the next few years. This according to Yuji Kakimi, president of Jera, a joint venture between Tepco and Chubu Electric Power Co (9502.TO), formed in April. Its main job is to buy 40 million tons a year of LNG for the two Japanese power utilities. They have such a big need because a 4.8 million tons a year of long-term contract with Petronas will expire in March 2018, and a 4.3 million ton a year contract with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Co expires a year later, Kakimi says. There are many long-term LNG contracts held by Japanese power and gas utilities to expire in 2018-2019.
